Play Date

After Church today my youngest had a "Toddlers and Twos" play date at her Sunday School teachers house. It was a great opportunity for the parents to get together and get to know one another! There were hot dogs and hamburgers, and of course DESSERT!!

And after the kids bellys were full it was GAME ON!

Town Festival

We live in a small town and the highlight of this weekend was out towns Festival. Truthfully I've never been to it and I've lived here most of my life, however my oldest had to be there to help with the fundraiser for her band.

I was surprised that I actually had a good time!

All the newly elected and those still running showed up. The parade was alot of fun! They even threw candy to the kids. David Shepard got out of his truck to give these kids some suckers. I thought that was pretty cool! You just never know what you might see in a local parade! Especially in a small town!

And then there were the rides and shaved ice..........

Pretty sure she enjoyed both!!

I guess if you HAVE to be up at 7am on a Saturday this was not a bad way to spend it!

Where to start...

Ive had this blog for awhile and have been putting off starting it. Ive never been one much for social media but here goes my attempt.



I turned 30 this week, I'm not really sure how I feel about that. Remember when 30 seemed so OLD?! Its crazy how quickly 30 years goes by. Its like someone pushes FF after High School graduation.



So I did what anyone who feels OLD does..........I went to the park with my family!






We had such a GREAT time! I was so nice just to stop and take life slow for a day. The 2 girls are mine and the 2 boys are my brothers. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my birthday!
